Hi! I stumbled onto your blog a while ago, and absolute LOVE it. So first I just wanted to thank you for all your great advice! Second I wanted to ask you about school involvement. I guess i decieded on PR a little late in the game because I'm going to be a Senior in the Fall but I dont really have any experience to put on my resume. So I would like to ask you, how i should get involved at school to gain experience and where are some good entertainment PR places to intern in the Fall in NYC?

Does your school have a PRSA chapter? Can you take PR or Communications courses as elective courses this fall? I would try to intern as well—and do not limit yourself to entertainment PR. Those internships are hard to get and filled for the most part by now. Look around at various agencies for opportunities (I post them every Friday.) If you are dead set on entertainment, however, consider BWR, CAA, ID PR, HL Group, Alison Brod, Rubenstein, 5W, Dan Klores, Rogers & Cowan… I could go on and on. Do some research and keep an open mind. Good luck!
